Nathaniel & Mikayla - June 16th, 2018 with Simply Wedding Photography at E.V.O. Kitchen (Cambridge, Ontario)

Wow, wow, wow.  I can not believe that the day has come and gone where our very own shooter has now become a married woman in one of the most beautiful day's I have ever had the honour of being part of. My day started off with the boys (an unusual opportunity and treat for me as I am usually with the girls only for the morning). These boys were so wonderful to hang out with and welcomed me from the moment I stepped in the door.  Mikayla would have been very proud had she have been there in the morning.

From there, I hopped on over with the girls - more of the norm for me, BUT this was anything but normal.  I truly did not anticipate how different it would be being part of a wedding that was so personal in nature. Usually its only the father/daughter dance that chokes me up slightly at weddings but I will admit (begrudgingly) that there were a few moments. Mikayla's dress... oh my... Mikayla's dress.  I was smitten with this dress the second I got it out of the bag.. or at least I thought I was until I saw the hand made cape that she had made to go with it. Words can not express not only how beautiful it is, but how perfect is was for her. I'm going to take a moment here to acknowledge that this is probably more words than I've put in a blog post in years.. theres just too much to say!

The ceremony space was perfectly put together in the Parents-of-the-Brides backyard.  An intimate and beautifully set up space consisting of a stunning arbour.

Even Gunner (who now has a Dad!!!) got to be involved in the wedding day.

Of course downtown Cambridge was the most perfect backdrop for this couples photos!  #galtlove and E.V.O. Kitchen was Mikayla's dream space - and theres no questioning why.

Congratulations to you both.  I am so unbelievably honoured and proud to know you and call you my friends.
