Leah & David - October 20th, 2018 with Simply Wedding Photography at Dundurn Castle

What a day.  The forecast was good, but the rain started while on route to the church! By the time we were done, it was perfect for family and wedding party photos and then as the bus pulled out of Dundurn Castle, the grey skies rolled back in.

Leah & David's wedding was absolutely beautiful. Her dress was definitely one of my favourites - I mean look at the sheer, lace and the bottom fringe! It was absolutely lovely working with the girls in the morning before heading out to the Church where Leah and David said their vows in front of their family and friends.  

Dundurn Castle never ceases to impress with its beautiful old structures, stone and maintained grounds. The perfect setting for family and wedding party images. We even had a beautiful rainbow make an appearance over the harbour!

Luke and Aliza October 6, 2018 with Simply Wedding Photography - The Old Marina Restaurant

What was supposed to be pouring rain and stormy weather turned out to be a perfect day! Luke and Aliza had their intimate ceremony at Ellis Chapel where they celebrated with their closest friends and family.  Following their ceremony, they headed to their reception at The Old Marina Restaurant overlooking the lake where the sun decided to make its appearance and give that added bonus.

Although the morning was wet and foggy, it lifted in time for their ceremony and everyone stayed dry for photos and into most of the evening. These two had their nieces and nephews join in their celebrations which always makes for some cute images!  One little guy tore up the dance floor all night long while inviting individual guests to join him in the circle that had built up around him. I've seen some dancing in my day but I think he takes the cake!

Congratulations to both Luke and Aliza as you both begin the next chapter together!
