Matthew & Marsha - August 26th, 2017 with Simply Wedding Photography

Clearly, I've been to a lot of weddings.  I've witnessed big weddings, small weddings, indoor, outdoor, civil ceremonies, home weddings and everything in between.  Why am I speaking about everyone else's weddings when this post is about Marsha and Matt?  Because I have never cried at a wedding (actual streaming tears), until this day.  I have never been at a wedding that was more emotional and full of every kind of love imaginable.

Marsha is such a beautiful soul. Her sisters are just like her - three peas in a pod is the saying that comes to mind. Their family was so much fun to be around and so very genuine. Marsha's father, and her relationship with him was definitely the source of most of my tears.   To see the way they look at each other, you can just tell that there is a bond there that goes so so much deeper than unconditional love.  It is not until we are faced with challenges with ourselves and in our relationships that we realize how unbelievably important those relationships are to us.  I'm sure you can tell by how I write this, that I have a very personal connection to their story, but Im not here to talk about that today - I'm here to talk about Marsha and Matt and what they mean to each other and their families.

I feel so unbelievably drawn to Marsha and Matt.  I feel very fortunate to have shared this day with them, laughed with them, and learned from them.

I wish you both all the happiness in the world.

Cheers.

Peter & Jenna - August 25th, 2017 with Simply Wedding Photography

Jenna and Peter were married on Friday at Whistlebear in Cambridge.  It was an absolutely perfect setting for their wedding where they were surrounded by so many family and friends.

After many, many years together... they can finally call themselves husband and wife!  Their day however, was shared by another special someone; their dog Kodak.  It was Kodak's birthday and he got to celebrate with a hamburger.  Happy Birthday Kodak!

Jenna and Peter, you are an absolutely wonderful couple and I know you will have many many beautiful years ahead of you both!  Congratulations!

Ryan & Malissa - August 19th, 2017 with Simply Wedding Photography

It sure felt like it was going to rain a few times today, however, it held off!  The umbrellas made a 2 minute appearance and luckily, the rain moved on.

Ryan and Malissa had a beautiful ceremony at the Guelph Arboretum where their guests gathered in the field to witnessed their union.  We had a wonderful time after the ceremony, starting with a huge group photo followed by family, wedding party and images of the newlyweds!

From the very first time I met Malissa and Ryan, I knew for sure these two were absolutely made for each other. Malissa laughs at Ryans quirky jokes and their love is beyond genuine.  I think he even loves her more than Batman - and that is saying something special!

Their reception was held at the Italian Canadian Club which was decorated impeccably!  Its beautiful purple and gold decor really complimented this beautiful wedding party.

I wish you both all the happiness in the world for years and years to come!

Krystin & Nate - August 12th, 2017 with Simply Wedding Photography

Krystin and Nate are such an amazingly fun couple. Nate competes as a strongman and Krystin kicks butt at the gym.  They are true partners in life and have been living it to its fullest.  I have to admit, I am fairly jealous that as I type this, they are on a plane to Rome!

Their wedding was elegant.  Done at CASO station in St. Thomas; the perfect setting for an intimate reception with a beautiful reception right on site.  Of course, any time I have old buildings and brick to photograph with, I am in heaven!

Best wishes to you both on your new journey together!!!!
